Rebuild The Civilization™ operates under a dual licensing model to balance openness and protection.

1. Knowledge Content

All knowledge content is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license.

You are free to:

• Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
• Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.

Under the following terms:

• Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, link the license, and indicate if changes were made.
• ShareAlike — Adapted versions must be distributed under the same CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

What this means in practice

• You can reuse guides in local manuals, classes, and preparedness programs.
• You must keep attribution and preserve the same-share license when publishing adaptations.
• You cannot remove original attribution when republishing knowledge content.

2. Codebase

The codebase is proprietary. All rights reserved. This software and its associated documentation files (the "Software") are proprietary and confidential. Unauthorized copying, modification, distribution, or use of the Software, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from the copyright holder.

Code permissions and restrictions

• Not allowed by default: copy, redistribution, sublicensing, or publication of modified code.
• Not allowed by default: reuse of proprietary source code or visual identity in other projects.
• Allowed only with explicit written authorization from the rights holder.

The Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. By submitting contributions, you confirm you have the right to share that material. Knowledge contributions are published under CC BY-SA 4.0. Code contributions are handled under proprietary terms managed by the project maintainers.
